St. Clare Centre Sponsorship Program - as a sponsor you can make a difference
Fr. Riwa has gathered 250 girls at the St. Clare Centre. These are beautiful and grateful little children, ranging from 3 years to 16 years; all silent victims who have lost their families due to tribal conflicts, the HIV/AIDS pandemic and other diseases, and systemic poverty. At St. Clare they are safe from the dangers of the streets.
As a direct result of your sponsorship, a girl will receive the necessities for a healthy, productive life: a home, health care, an education, and a safe and caring environment where she can form lasting and trusting relationships with both adults and other children.
By becoming a sponsor, you help Fr. Riwa realize his vision to give this opportunity to 500 orphaned girls. As a sponsor you will receive:
- The benefit of knowing you are taking responsibility for one who was born into circumstances far less fortunate tha n most children.
- The name, photo and a brief biography of the girl you sponsor.
- Communication from her throughout the year.
Through this connection, you will gain a first-person perspective of life in Kenya; in turn, your sponsored child will learn that someone across the world cares about her, is interested in her daily life, and wants her to succeed.
