Bonding With the Board!

Members of the Friends of Kenyan Orphans’ Board make an annual on site visit to St. Clare. They do this to observe the progress at St. Clare and to better understand the needs there. In addition, they offer support and collect information which can be used to assist the full board to make critical decisions regarding funding of St. Clare.

This year, John McManus (San Francisco), Marcy Hessling O’Neil (Rochester Hills, Mi) and Rich Horrigan (Denver) were the official FOKO Board representatives. One of their first stops was a visit with Bishop Salesius Mugambi, bishop of Meru. In addition, they met with Father Riwa and assessed various situations at St. Clare.
