This week the students at St. Clare Centre for Girls enjoyed fresh bread for the first time in many months. After ten years of service, the old oven and dough mixer had given up the ghost! Thanks to a generous group of San Francisco donors, the new oven arrived and was ready to go. And thanks to the Congregation of St. Joseph from Kalamazoo, Michigan for providing the funding for the new dough mixer.
The girls are now able to enjoy bread on a regular basis which will surely contribute to their nutrition. They are extremely grateful to the San Francisco donors and to the Congregation of St. Joseph for making this happen.
