BUD AND SUE HAVE ARRIVED

Bud and Sue have arrived at St. Clare. Sue notes that one of the loveliest experiences of returning is seeing familiar faces. The girls wanted to greet Bud and Sue like they do anytime people come to St. Clare. So they sang some songs for Bud and Sue, some of which the Ozars remembered and others which were new. But it was an extremely warm and friendly welcoming.

Bud and Sue had a real treat, however. A young woman, Lydia, was a member of Sue’s class 7 English class nine years ago. She gave Sue a huge embrace and invited Sue to Lydia’s “baby class” classroom where Lydia is teaching young girls who are just beginning to attend school and learn to speak English. Lydia’s classroom is the very one where Sue taught her those nine years ago.

Sue plans on setting up a counseling program at St. Clare starting with the secondary girls. Bud will be supervising the building of the Skills Center for sewing and child care.
