MARVELOUS MATRONS

Madams Dorcas and Mercy serve as matrons at St. Clare. They are mother figures for 375 girls.  Some of the children are quite young who need the matrons to care for them in every way: be on call during the night, assist with showers and preparing for classes. For all the girls the matrons distribute medications and make sure the girls have the proper clothing. While the girls then are in class, these generous women clean the building; after class they supervise the girls with their cleaning chores. It is momentous job cheerfully handled by two lovely, smiling women. What a blessing to St Clare are Dorcas and Mercy!
