It seems we are spending more time than ever before focusing on toilet paper and germs for good reason, as the passing of sickness is on the forefront of everyone’s mind. These issues have long been a major focus to ensure a healthy environment for the children in Kenya.

At St. Clare, years of steady use have resulted in wear and tear on the bathrooms and showers. Part of the two-year plan to improve the infrastructure of the school is addressing plumbing, tile, and toilets.

Now, faced with a global pandemic, the projects that you have made possible are more important than ever in keeping the orphans of Kenya safe and healthy.

At our Lady of Grace School, FOKO donations have built new, handicap accessible bathrooms to replace old pit latrines and updated dorm bathrooms for the older girls.
