St. Lucy’s School for the Blind provides a home and education to 242 visually impaired and blind children in Igoji, Kenya. We’re happy to report an update on the construction of new bathrooms that will replace dark, unsanitary pits that pose health hazards to the children. In addition to the new toilets, a biodigester is being constructed to convert waste into fuel that will be used for cooking, heating and fertilizer.

Thanks to your generosity, FoKO is thrilled to fund a necessary, safe lavatory facility for the children of St. Lucy's.
