SHOES GALORE!

Thanks to our donor support, the summer shoe campaign was a huge success. 350 pairs of shoes from the Shoe that Grows, a product of Because International, arrived this week at the home of Bud and Sue Ozar.  The Ozars, volunteers and Friends of Kenyan Orphans board members who travel to Kenya in the next few months, will be transporting the shoes.

These shoes were designed for shoeless children in the developing world and will be a great benefit for the St Clare girls who will be wearing them soon. Even though the intent of the creator of Shoes that Grow was to benefit children in the developing world, the shoes have become popular in the  US and Canada where for every pair sold here, two pairs are given to shoeless children living in third world countries.
