TALENTED TAILORS
Joyce from form 3 and Oripha from class 8 talk about the tailors and the new St. Clare school uniforms.
It was early this past summer at St. Clare Girls’ Centre. We were so happy to put on our new school uniforms.
Here at St. Clare, we now have three tailors, two women and one man, who have made us new uniforms. They have done a great job making these uniforms, especially the primary school blue tunics which they made in a short time. These tailors are still making more uniforms for the secondary and primary students.
Thank you, Madam Joycelyn, and your helpers for all your sacrifices to make us look decent. We are very grateful to our benefactors and our director, Fr. Francis Riwa, for the gift of our tailors.
Thank you too to Friends of Kenyan Orphans who donated the money for the new uniforms. We are very happy with them.
